SPESIFICATION OF TEETH SYSTEMS

Powerful

Kmax has a perfect shape which boosts endurance. Its smooth surface prevents tension. Adaptor tip is specially designed so that it is shock-resistant. Kmax is slim and powerful thanks to these features.

Sharp

Kmax has a distinctive sharpness. Adaptors have a round shape while the slim teeth reach ahead from the bucket. The adaptor and teeth combination is extra smooth. Thanks to these specifications, the load can get into the bucket and can be emptied from the bucket easily.

Ease of Use

Fastening elements specific to Kmax provide a safe locking. The adaptor can be attached with a simple pin without the need for heavy hammer impacts. The locking system is secured with a mechanism similar to a door catcher. You can save your money and time by means of the locking system which eases the replacement process of the teeth.

GENERAL PURPOSE LOW ABRASION

Heavy Duty Class (Excavator)

RB-B
The RC-B type teeth designed for excavators has a reinforcement which protects the adapter by crushing the material.

General Duty Class (Excavator)

SYL-B
It is recommended to use SYL-B type teeth for general purpose and especially for excavation works. If one side of these teeth is over-abraded depending upon the soil properties, they can be turned upside down and used again.

Heavy Duty Class (Loader)

RP2
The RP2 type teeth which are harmonise ideally according to the distinctive operating conditions of loaders are especially used in stripping tasks.

ADAPTER TYPES

These types of adapters can be used in large loaders just like they can be used in excavators typically.

Plain adaptors are typically used in loaders as they make zero suppression; however, they can be also used in the buckets of small and middle class excavators when required.

TEETH ASSEMBLY

Replacing all of the teeth in the bucket will take you only 1-2 minutes. Replacing other pinned teeth takes a very long time and these pins usually gets broken and displace.

KOMATSU DESIGN LOCKING SYSTEM

Strong locking, easy assembling/disassembling

ROLL PIN ASSEMBLY

  • After placing the pin in its housing, turn the roll pin head by 90 degrees clockwise.
  • There is definitely no need for a sledgehammer when assembling and disassembling the roll pin.
  • You do not need to renew the roll pin before replacing the teeth for 4-5 times.

There are 8 differences between them.

High Diving Ability Increasing the Power

If one side of these teeth is over-abraded depending upon the soil properties, they can be turned upside down and used again.

MATERIAL HARDNESS OF THE TEETH

KMAX is manufactured from extremely hard materials and its brittleness is minimised by adjusting the inner hardness.

USAGE RATIO OF THE TEETH

Very high usage ratio (60%)

You can use until 60% of your teeth is depleted.

MACHINE TYPES THAT CAN BE USED

For excavators > PC150 - PC1250

50% abrasion rate

For loaders > WA250 - WA900

An example of Kmax applications

CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF THE ADAPTERS IN THE BUCKET CORRECTLY

For Excavators

Inner width of the bucket divided by 3 times of the adapter width, plus 1.25. Round down the fractional values. For example, when you have a 5.77 value, you should take this as 5 adapters.

For Wheel Loaders

Inner width of the bucket divided by 3.6 times of the adapter width, plus 1.25. Round down the fractional values. For example, when you have a 8.77 value, you should take this as 8 adapters.
